The results of this series produces a gap between Barca and Madrid. Currently, Barca managed to collect 25 points. While Madrid was still in the top of the LA League standings with 30 points. Barca did not care for it. Currently they are more focused to prepare for the Copa del Rey match in midweek. But of all that, Barca should be proud because they still maintain the status undefeated this season. Despite the loss of a chance to beat Barca, Bilbao managed to go up one rank to 9th with 14 points.
