Darren Clarke, the Open Champion, misses cut at Irish Open • 08.03.11

Clarke moved up the leaderboard after birdies at the first and third. It is before his momentum was halted by bogeys on the fourth and fifth. The suite happened after his opening 69. “All in all, I’s disappointed with my score but there’s always next week,” Clarke said.
